If you pretend to become a Doctor of Philosophy, you must be certainly assigned to write a PhD dissertation or thesis. Pretending to become a doctor of Philosophy means you are a very smart person and are interested in the problems of existence and death. Therefore, if you speculate about such things, you must be taking exams or a paper defense not that close to your heart, like the others use to do. So, everyone can envy your ability to gain self-control.

Actually, I have just given a picture of the candidate to PhD degree model. In real life such people are in minority. We are all living beings with our troubles and worries and who need in a good piece of advice. Students who are going to write their PhD dissertations or theses are not exceptions. That is why let me present several pieces of advice on how not to worry a day before your PhD dissertation or thesis defense:

  • One of the good ways to forget about your problems and fears of defense is to meditate. Some people do not accept this method of relaxation because they think it is all just a self-suggestion. Still, let me make an objection against their opinions. Meditation was proved and an effective method of getting rid of the fears even by the scientists;
  • The next way is to concern yourself with auto-training. You just have to repeat inwardly that you WILL succeed. Just do not even accept the possibility of failure. That is it!
  • The last way I am going to offer you is to use your dissertation or thesis coaching. They usually give a piece of good advice on how to pass through successfully.
