Defense of PhD Dissertation

PhD dissertation/thesis is an academic paper, which is written in order to get the highest or one of the highest academic degrees - PhD degree which means Doctor of Philosophy. In fact, in the majority of countries this degree is the highest academic degree. Getting PhD degree students finish the process of education. In some countries oral defense is obligatory one like in The UK, the USA, or Germany, in other countries like Australia, oral defense is not required. - certain revision is required
- deep revision is required
- not accepted
The most popular result is the second one. Often students have to make some small changes and corrections in their dissertations. As for last two results, they are rather rare cases as well as the first result.
